Kitchen Hand

Hungry Baker Hospitality are looking to expand their teams at our Minchinbury & Erskine Park store locations – both Front of House & Back of House staff.

We currently have Hungry Baker Cafes located in Woolworths Distribution Centre Cafeteria at Erskine Park & Minchinbury, serving the Woolworths warehouse staff.

We are seeking weekend workers, along with additional hours throughout the week; hours are based on a weekly roster.

At Hungry Baker, we offer our customers a wide range of cooked hot food options served from a Baine Marie for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Menu, along with Salads Burgers & Wraps made in store daily.

We are looking for both Front of House – Cafe staff to serve our customers & Back of House Staff – Cooks/Chefs, Kitchen Hands etc.

FRONT OF HOUSE

Staff Qualifications & Experience

• Friendly & great customer service skills;
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually;
• Taking orders and cash handling;
• Ability to multitask and assist within the store where required;
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic team member;
• Be across all food safety and Covid safe practices;

Tasks & Responsibilities

The duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Open and/or Close of the Cafe Serving customers;
• Use of a POS system;
• Restocking of food and drink products;
• Assisting with Catering orders; and
• General cleaning duties.

BACK OF HOUSE Staff (Cooks/Chefs)

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience as a Chef or Cook;
• Hands-on experience with various Cafe kitchen equipment Familiarity with sanitation requirements;
• Knowledge of kitchen procedures, food handling & workplace safety;
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually;
• Ability to multitask and assist within the store where required; and
• Be across all food safety and Covid safe practices;

Tasks & Responsibilities

The duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Open and/or Close of the Kitchen Cooking Cafe food in accordance with the instore Menu;
• Minotor of food stock levels;
• Working with the Manager with placing food orders;
• General cleaning duties; and
• Ensure health & safety regulations are met within the Back of House area.

Candidates who apply must be 18 and over (as a requirement to enter the Premises). Training will be provided to all staff members.
